“No canto mucho karaoke”
Heikki Kovalainen, que está interesado en la batería, ha invitado a Nightwish a los boxes.

- En casa, en Geneva, compré una batería para ponerla en el refugio anti-bombas. Me sitúo y toco. ¡Cada vez soy mejor!- dice Kovalainen excitado.
Además de las baquetas, un micrófono está firme en la mano de Heikki aunque el karaoke no se da cada fin de semana.
- No canto mucho karaoke, ¡por lo menos no recuerdo hacerlo! Tenemos una canción legendaria en Finlandia llamada “El camionero”. Las letras hablan de las cosas buenas que tiene conducir un camión, así que canto esa canción.
Pero no hay duda acerca de su música favorita.
- Mi banda favorita es Nightwish, de Finlandia. Siempre he escuchado rock y metal- dice la estrella de la Fórmula 1.
Ser un fan lo ha hecho conocerlos.
- Conozco a todos los miembros de la banda desde un concierto del año pasado. Los he invitado a los boxes del GP de Brasil, revela Kovalainen.

Heikki Kovalainen from McLaren talks willingly about his civilian life in an interview for ITV Sport. The man from Suomussalmi has budding talent for music.
- At home in Geneva we have a bomb shelter and I have bought a drums kit there. I put my head set on and play along. I´m getting better all the time!, Kovalainen says excited.
In addition to drumsticks, a microphone stays firm in Heikki´s hands even though karaoke doesn´t take place every weekend.
- I don´t sing karaoke a lot, at least I don´t remember doing so! We have a legendary song in Finland called "The trucker". The lyrics are about what makes driving a truck so good, so I sing that song.
But there´s no doubt about his favourite music.
- My favourite band is Nightwish from Finland. I have always listened to rock and metal, the Formula star says.
Being a fan has proceeded to actually meeting them.
- I know all the band members since I met them in a concert last year. I have invited them to the pits in the Brazilian GP, Kovalainen reveals.
